@CofRedCentral This would be the biggest misstep the team has ever taken. Look at how fans are treating Chicago for the #1 pick this year. This would be a dumpster fire of a hire. I hope fans boycott if it happens. I'd be done with this team in all capacity if it did. Bring on the Kraken.
@Bowhuntingbsfan@NHLFlames Ask them to go on the 10/90 plan... My account manager said that gives you until August to decide whether to renew or not. You pay 10% now and 90% later with the 10% being fully refundable if you choose to cancel. Will give you the flexibility to see the off season changes.
The #Flames sent my season ticket renewal to me today. I asked to cancel. They asked me to pause my cancellation decision until Aug citing a new GM & young prospects being reasons to hold off. Here is my response (pls excuse typos (smoke & fire) - I may have been at work lol).
@HaakiRiinkanen @RobertWJV Absolutely what he said is valid. Expectations were high. I agree with that. I think there was a lot of pressure on the new guys. Could next yr be better? Yep. But I'm tired of the mediocre mentality of this team, starting with ownership. It starts from the top.

@JarredBooth77 I love this! The "Culture of Mediocrity" is a PERFECT way to describe the #Flames culture! This is what I'm canceling my season tickets over! That type of culture!
@MocJock Current roster was only part of a bigger problem. Don't think I was any harsher on the roster than the coach, management, or ownership. In fact, I think I was kinder to the roster than the others. I think it starts from the top down.
@beavtwit007@CofRedCentral I don't believe this is the case since covid. I went to a game with friends a few years ago and they were called asking if they wanted season tix. Another friend who cancelled at the end of last season changed their mind after the trade last year and got new season tix in Sept
@PinderReport 100%. I cancelled my season tickets and stated ownership was a huge reason. I'm only one person but based on the response I've gotten from other Flames fans in the last day, I'd say yes and I think the voices will grow.
@Graham_CGY Given the response of wanting to go the 10% refundable route until August and the phone call I received after saying no thanks, I suspect the same.
