No nucleus? No problem! No DNA? Who cares! Histones? No need! Read our @biorxivpreprint on #Transgenerational Epigenetic Inheritance in animals that transmit to their progeny their cytoplasm but not their nuclei- Small RNAs are doin’ it for themselves!🧵 https://t.co/yoKNmcpxjU
Zebrafish people:is there an online database of zebrafish anatomy available somewhere? There was one from the Currie lab (FishNet) from 2007 but site seems to be down. Any alternatives out there? @ZebrafishRock, can you help disseminate? #AskZebrafish
THANK YOU @AssafZaritsky to write a #preprint highlight about our software to detect collective signaling events ! You can read this here: https://t.co/4IdB3u5C9T. Can’t resist to share a cool movie 🤘
During nucleosome passage, Pol II causes loss of H2A-H2B dimers from the nucleosome, resulting in hexasome formation. We provide structural evidence for this process and observe that Pol II backtracks upon encountering nucleosomal barriers @MolecularCell.

Congratulations to Ada @adajglez for a great talk and Haseeb and Kacper @HQ_of_the_scope@kapawozniak for their poster (poster prize runner up) at @BCGB_UoB symposium!
Challenging dogma:
When mutations don't change the amino acid (synonymous) but alter the fitness of the protein, and can be as harmful as non-synonymous mutations

"By generating pan-H3K27R (pK27R) mutant mESCs, where all **28** alleles of H3.1, H3.2 and H3.3 have been mutated, we demonstrate similarity in transcription patterns of genes and differentiation to PRC2-null mutants."🤯🤯🤯 @NatureGenet https://t.co/sWnUpAZy5Q
Finally online! Great work by @scottbscience and @muellermicha_ in the lab on RNA concentration homeostasis in mammalian cells. https://t.co/ELeMJhxbQI
@Ibrahim_S_Amin@derek_lambada @KiranNaz96 On Mythvision podcast an apologist phoned in to justify it as meaning 'divorce', which the natively Arabic speaking ex Muslim guest had no problem refuting. I can sort of respect people trying to reinvent the words to be more appropriate but it's a dishonest approach at best
