Our investigations point to CenturyLink being the source of this disruption. You may notice problems getting to sites all over the Internet (don't call your home ISP just yet).
Our network should be coming back online right now. We will let you know when we are completely back online and can confirm that there will be no further issues.
One of our on site team members have informed us that our upstream providers have brought the line down into their truck and are now actively working on splicing the cables. We will keep you posted as soon as we receive any further updates.
@PPNStudio @p0rthas @dbnoc HostRocket is currently experiencing a network wide outage due to a fiber cut. As soon as our fiber line is spliced back together we will be back online. There will be no data loss as a result of this outage.
We will continue to post updates regarding this outage to our social media profiles as well as on https://t.co/PT9wui8aVB.
For our DotBlock customers, the live chat support option is also now available on https://t.co/PT9wui8aVB.
@mdanerichardson @planet4589@cork@BinayKu41373086 There are 72 strands of fiber that need to be spliced and they have just gotten approval to begin repairs. Unfortunately since this is an issue with our upstream providers, we do need to wait on an update from their team. I am sorry for the inconvenience caused by this outage.
@mdanerichardson @planet4589@cork@BinayKu41373086 We have a crew working on this now, they are on site and things will be back up and running as quickly as possible. We will provide more info as to the cause of the outage etc once everything is back online. There will not be any data or email loss related to this outage.
