@69Maitland@JufS_Hofstade@Kevin_Maguire Actually from what is known Royal family do not pay taxes, it is a well known fact. The do contribute something towards taxes but not the full tax that we pay. If they do then the Government and Royals should let everyone know exactly what taxes they pay via official statement
@JufS_Hofstade@Kevin_Maguire If the fees for Royal Children's schooling are not funded by taxpayers in any way then its fine. Prince George can be sent to whichever school they want. Thats a personal choice.Nothing against that.
@JufS_Hofstade@Kevin_Maguire It all does not add up. If the duchy is earning in billions and the top rate of income tax is 45% then surely the amount should be a lot more than 7 million?
@lewis_goodall I dont care where they send their child to school. What I object is us taxpayers funding for his school fees. If true, then that is unacceptable
@JufS_Hofstade@Kevin_Maguire Thus saying he is a top 1% Taxpayer is a bit disingenuous. And paying taxes on earnings is a legal duty of every citizen so I was wondering what point is being made here
@JufS_Hofstade@Kevin_Maguire William voluntarily pays some amount of income tax on duchy of Cornwall. As with all finances of Royals this too is kept highly secretive. So he might be paying a pound for all we know.
