BJP ~96 Lakhs on 101 seats (91%).
JDU ~90 Lakhs on 101 seats (82%).
NDA distributed seats smartly.
Mahagathbandhan spread thin.
It is Strategy, not chori!

Efficiency metric = (Seats won ÷ seats contested) × 100
It normalises for exposure: A party contesting more seats risks diluting votes (e.g., 1% statewide might win 0 seats in 200 races but 1 in 50 targeted ones).
For coalitions, aggregate:
Total Efficiency = Σ (Party Efficiency × Party Vote Share Weight).
NDA Pre-poll pact minimised vote-splitting, e.g., BJP ceded 50+ seats to JDU in JDU strongholds, boosting joint wins by ~20-30% per analyses. The same did not happen for MGB.
Proportionality Gap (Bonus Metric):
Gallagher Index approximation: √[½ Σ (Vote Share% - Seat Share%)²] Bihar 2025: ~25
(high disproportionality), means 40% votes → 80% seats for NDA.

List % differences per party, square, average, sqrt. Lower = fairer system.
