@patriottakes They never learn from history. The US has switched to year-round DST two times in the past century. Each time, when Winter rolled around, Americans screamed when they realized it would be dark at 9 am, and it was quickly switched back.
@MiddleOfMayhem People are such idiots. Don't they know that aliens make their flying ships look like ordinary aircraft, helicopters, and balloons to blend in?
@MarkNelsenKPTV You pretty much nailed the snow amount for the Gorge; Hood River has received 5" so far for the day. That breaks the previous Dec 1 record for Hood River of 3.8" (1985)
@JohnMetta Yes. During the facial shingles that I had, there were 3 episodes of lightning-bolt headache pain that I had never experienced before, and thankfully haven't experienced since.
@JohnMetta I can definitely relate. I had shingles on my face (left side, from the eye up) 3 years ago. Came close to losing the vision in my left eye; hopefully your eye wasn't involved.
@NWSPortland Thanks, but the issue some of us are having with it is that the new layout of the actual table, which is now at the bottom (once one's parameters have been defined, is much less visually useful. I guess we'll get used to it, the old layout with the table at the top was better.
@automattic@Crowdsignalcom This question isn't related to your tweet above, but all of a sudden (Sept 1), the option of "poll widgets" is gone from the Dashboard/Polls area. What's up with that?
@crisp22 What's the name of that trail? I've always heard those cliffs being described as "Eagle Cliffs" or something like that. With the blooms, it looks like a gorgeous hike right now.
