@bat020 It seems to me that the previously ignored ‘Global South’ is starting to refuse to play the game favouring the rich anymore and using the UNGA votes to assert themselves more. The intransigeance comes mainly from Europe and USA (with Russia playing to the crowd, China watching)
@bat020@yet_so_far As a pedestrian biles are no longer no.1 on my hate list. Those bloody e-scooters are much more of a menace and there seems to be very little to stop them doing what they want
@howardjacobson@SaulStaniforth@cenkuygur Are you arguing that one atrocity allows another in response? In that case Hamas will point back to previous atrocities and so on. This is a despicable argument used by despicable people
@RuairiAodh@Scullabogue@SewellMartin@PeterStefanovi2 And I do criticise people who voted for Brexit as well. Both they and EU are to blame. Happy to say that….but you are an EU Farageist so want to make life difficult for foreigners, especially Brits
@RuairiAodh@Scullabogue@SewellMartin@PeterStefanovi2 But how does that impact my wife? Why is the EU not being able to allow her to cross easily as she is entitled to do have anything to do with Brexit? The same applies to anyone - why would any border want to make life so miserable for visitors?
@RuairiAodh@Scullabogue@SewellMartin@PeterStefanovi2 When I lived in UK, as EU, I always welcomed people from wherever never mind their passport colour. If residents then even better and would have protested any issues when trying to get into the country. You seem to think differently. You only care about passport colour
@RuairiAodh@Scullabogue@SewellMartin@PeterStefanovi2 I think what you are saying is that legal residents in Schengen can (should?) have their legal rights ignored because they are not EU citizens and just accept it. If you are British you deserve even more so because of a vote taking 10 years ago when you were never even there!
@RuairiAodh@Scullabogue@SewellMartin@PeterStefanovi2 Residency is about where you reside and their are restrictions inside Schengen. As a legal Schengen resident the border checks and restrictions do not apply to me - I can move freely across with no EES - what is difficult to understand? Or are you a Trumpist as well?
