Looked a harsh call, clumsy from Frimpong if anything, but that mismatch is definitely there if they can release him 1v1.

I’m shocked how cagey this game is, I really imagined both sides flying on the wings in an end to end affair!

So far neither side wants to give an inch, could imagine it opening up in the second half when legs tire.

Leverkusen’s defensive shape in the final third is the main issue for Liverpool at the minute, great shape and often 2 to 1 marking the Liverpool forwards.

Liverpool could do with more bodies in the area or a more active threat from range.
