And after hearing all he had to say as an eyewitness to the barbriism that is muslim ideology, the McKinney City council voted UANANIMOUSLY 7-0 to allow the mosque to be enlarged the 5 add'l acres to accommodate the increased (and exploding) muslim population.

This meeting was held late in the evening, no doubt in hopes it wouldn't be attended by nay-sayers. McKinney is my backyard, and as a Dallas resident, this is beyond alarming to me.

Joe Rogan yells "Holy sh*t!" after Harvard professor of genetics David Sinclair says sudden blindness has DOUBLED because of GLP-1 drugs.

Then Rogan pulls up the data himself — and what he reads out loud is even worse.

SINCLAIR: "Glaucoma and also sudden blindness. It's called NAION, which is now twice as more prevalent because of the GLP-1 drugs."

ROGAN: "Really?!"

SINCLAIR: "It's not well known. Obviously companies don't want to talk about it. But yes, sudden blindness has doubled, seemingly because of these meds."

ROGAN: "Holy shit!"

SINCLAIR: "Due to NAION, which is like a stroke in your eye, and then your other eye can go. Which is pretty scary. And there's nothing you can do about it. Hopefully our drug does work for those people."

SINCLAIR: "Yeah, there's a scientist at Harvard. You could look up his work. Joe Rizzo. It looks like it's repeatable across the planet."

ROGAN: "Wow, that's terrible. Terrible because there's so many people out there that are just telling everyone they should get on GLP-1s… Like online podcasters saying, 'Everyone should get on GLP-1s… It's going to transform society.' I'm like, 'We just started taking these! The f*ck are you saying?!'"

SINCLAIR: "Yeah, it's not risk free. Same with ED drugs."

ROGAN: "Here goes. Recent studies suggest that a potential risk — rare link between GLP-1 receptor agonist medications such as Ozempic, Wegovy, blah, blah, blah, and… an eye stroke [that] can cause sudden, painless loss of vision in one eye, while absolute risk remains very low."

ROGAN: "Well, very low is like… What does that mean?"

SINCLAIR: "One in 10,000 people."

ROGAN: "One in 10,000?"

SINCLAIR: "Oh no. Total of 10,000."

ROGAN: "Oh, total of 10,000 so far? How many people are taking this stuff?"

Would love it if this is true, America's language of choice is English, all our books are in English, our signage is in English, names on buildings, towns, restaurants, hospitals, etc - all in English. CA is the worst for allowing tests written in multiple foreign languages!

Scientists just found a way to reverse osteoporosis – not just slow it.

Researchers from the University of Leipzig and Shandong University have identified GPR133, a cell-surface receptor that functions as a master regulator of bone-building cells called osteoblasts. When GPR133 is switched on, osteoblasts ramp up activity and dramatically increase bone density.

In mouse experiments, animals engineered without the GPR133 gene developed fragile, porous bones similar to human osteoporosis. However, treating them with a synthetic activator called AP503—a small molecule discovered through computational screening—rapidly strengthened their skeletons. Remarkably, AP503 not only boosted bone mass in healthy mice but also reversed osteoporosis-like damage in older or diseased animals, with even greater effects when paired with physical exercise.

Because GPR133 influences bone density in humans and the underlying molecular pathways are highly conserved across mammals, the findings raise hope for a breakthrough osteoporosis therapy. Unlike existing drugs that merely slow bone loss (and often carry side effects or waning efficacy), a GPR133-activating compound could actively rebuild bone from within.

This approach could be particularly transformative for postmenopausal women, who face the highest risk of debilitating fractures, offering a safer, more effective way to restore skeletal strength.

It's usually a lack of knowledge or information. In one of my classes, my students asked what's the problem with a small increase in taxes. I went to the board and wrote $60,000. I said: "Okay, so you just graduated and got a great job with a starting salary of $60,000. How much do you think is going straight to taxes?" Not one of them had any idea. College students. No idea.

I then went to the board and wrote: $20,000. Their jaws dropped. Federal taxes, payroll taxes, local taxes, sales tax, property tax, license fees, etc. They were shocked to learn that on average, depending on your state and local area, at least 30% of a person's salary now goes straight to taxes.

They had no idea. They hear about 1% increases or 3% but no one ever sits them down and shows them what people are actually paying in taxes. All taxes combined.

Show them how it will impact them. It has a powerful impact.
