It's unbelievable how many under this post just extrapolate this and apply it as if it's commonplace. Generalized assumptions will always be a dividing factor in this country. Doesn't matter who we're talking about.
surrounding himself with a bunch of children who have no concept of what they’re being used for and instilling in them a fear of trans people based on nothing but hate. this is the indoctrination i’ve been hearing about
It's more important now than ever to do your research. Media manipulation is rampant on both "sides". No social media app by itself is enough. This post AND the note exemplify that.
@Old_SchoolEddie@libsoftiktok It's more of the fact that there's a violently negative connotation surrounding transgenderism. Something that isn't understood by the majority is always going to receive negative scrutiny, and the reality is that some people are just better at dealing with that than others.
Of course, we don't agree with everything Kamala stands for - but there's a difference between Trump and her. We literally disagree with everything Trump stands for. He's a narcissistic piece of shit that has turned families against each other. He's united his cult into being more emboldened, more violent towards the people they dehumanize. Every "policy" Trump is supporting leads to a path of unbridled fascism.
The issues we have with Kamala Harris pale in comparison to those of Trump. We can certainly call out Harris on her Zionism, yet she's one of the only candidates that has ever sat down with Palestinian protesters and heard what they had to say. We can certainly call her out on locking up non-violent 'criminals' as an attorney - yet every single person reading this understands that there needs to be massive reform in criminal justice policies (of which we've fought for). Those issues are nothing compared to what Trump wants to turn the USA into. We have always (since day one) been against fascism, against theocratic rule, and have always fought for pro-democracy movements around the globe. Everyone has their flaws, surely - we are flawed to - yet putting Trump in office would result in a world where even his own supporters would regret living in. When Kamala takes office, we will definitely call her out for the things we will disagree with her on - but right now, at this very point in time: We want to see the MAGA cult destroyed. We're tired of their constant inhumanity, of the vile hate they push.

@WinnieSchola@kirawontmiss It was, and it's weird how nobody here seems to know that... "At Worlds End" put such ridiculous pressure on VFX artists that this movie is partly why attention was called to that line of work to begin with. There was literally a "cry room" for artists for this movie...
My mom died a month ago.
Take advantage of the time you guys still have with your parents. Don't leave things unsaid; be honest and never stop bettering your relationship with them.
We never know how much time we have left with them, and when they leave, it's a different pain.
over the past 5 years 2840+ mass shootings have occured in the us, 3 of those shooters have been trans. guns are the number 1 killer of children 1-18 and the right are salivating over a school shooter being trans to deflect away from the main issue. ease of access to weapons.
