Yesterday, I convened a briefing with key experts and Sudanese activists to discuss the war in Sudan, including the brave humanitarian efforts by everyday Sudanese. We also discussed strategies to pressure the RSF & SAF to stop the fighting and for the UAE to stop arming the RSF.
Earlier this week, we hosted a roundtable reflecting on one year of the conflict in Sudan. The event was an opportunity for members of Congress to learn more about the conflict and hear directly from those administering aid and working to rebuild in Sudan.
