@StupidInTexas@TruckerDanUSA My buddy Joe, a TVA trucker, was inspired by
the nice paint job on some trucks when he got
his Valkyrie painted... he's mentioned the name for
that design but I don't remember...
When they decided to tear down the big old house
where I had six or seven roommates when I was in
college, I moved to a little house on a 100 acre farm
in the country. My dumb cat Peeve disappeared a few
months after I moved. Then one day I saw him back
in Clemson as I was driving through town. I went over
to the not-yet-torn-down old house, and there he was.
I took him back to the farm, but he left again, and came
back to Clemson and the old house. No idea how he
navigated.
@AlBuffalo2nite Nobody is vandalizing the Reflecting Pool.
Vandalizing the Reflecting Pool is a right wing lie.
Some Vandalization might be happening.
It is happening and it is a good thing.
I wish they'd just skip right to step four and be
done with it.
@WardoftheStates Country Fried Steak with white gravy is my measure
of a "meat and three"... I'm lucky enough to have
a couple of good ones near enough to eat lunch at.
There's a couple of top flight ones in the nearby towns:
Stax's in Greenville SC. Mama Penn's in Anderson SC.
We get some beavers every few years. Also every few
years we get flash floods, that scours them out. There's three dams down there now, and I noticed the other
day that the beavers are gone. It could be that if the
creek goes down too much, their predators can get at
their holes in the banks and they move on. A few
years ago a beaver eliminating flash flood brought
us this tree from who knows where and deposited
it at an S turn on the creek... Snow Creek.
I haven't found any ticks on me yet, but... yesterday
while walking the dog I noticed the beavers down at
the creek are gone and their dams are degrading.
Then we came to a big black snake in the path. Next
a large tree fell across the path 20 feet in front of
us, CRASH! It was a good walk 👍
