@xAviation The NLG didn’t collapse, it retracted. The only way this would be possible is if the ground crew (ramp workers) failed to put the safety lockout pin in the NLG. Also several other oversights in the flight deck may have been involved as well. Like an improper ground test
@nathans_codes_2 That water tower will be completely replaced or reinforced significantly. The blast wave alone has caused significant structural damage. Not to mention the extreme heat treating that will cause cracking in short order. The entire pad will have to be replaced
@DJSnM No, per FARs all doors have to show closed and locked before any other MEL or flight clearance is issued. Looks like the AOG crew has some work ahead of them
@JeffBezos@blueorigin The stories I have heard from great talent that have joined with BO and quickly return back to us are atrocious and paint a picture of gradual failure. Culminating in your test results from Thursday night. You must fix this to compete with SpaceX and be a reliable NASA partner
@JeffBezos@blueorigin Brother, if you want to do that in time you will need to cut diversity, equality and inclusion out of your guiding principles and hire A1, grade A, top talent. Also stop rewarding your managers when they refuse to work as a team and just compete with other teams.
@LeahRain77 Looks like it was a good call for the home owner. That is the most poorly built deck I have ever seen! Stick with pressure washing bro.
In most states attached decks require permit and inspection. This failed attempt would definitely fail all inspections.
