@MNaurzov59011@VonSehnsucht@cumparonepunk@pulverdoom because states function as local monopolies of violence within a given region. they must use force to uphold their borders and laws. there is no world where states won't draft from it's populace for especially violent periods. women aren't chosen because they are seen as inferior
@MNaurzov59011@VonSehnsucht@cumparonepunk@pulverdoom again men are not being drafted specifically because they are men. they are being drafted because they are citizens. women ARE specifically excluded because they are women. the only ones being treated differently due to gender here are women
@MNaurzov59011@VonSehnsucht@cumparonepunk@pulverdoom this is not because men are targeted but because women are excluded. if women were viewed as equals of men they would be forced into the same level of conscription. this is oppression for being a citizen of a state not for being a man
@ssjcaba@idkijustthibk whered you get the idea that i accept non-empirical analysis?
sure, but this still feels like empirical analysis? this doesn't really describe your epistemology. what does advanced techniques have to do with whether the quran is correct or not?
@ssjcaba@idkijustthibk whether or not your hypothesis can be proven through consistent demonstration and critical analysis through peer review.
how do you account for all those ways?
@TruthSeeke35716@ssjcaba@idkijustthibk im just not sure how else you could figure truth if not through observation, experimentation, and peer review. yes im ultimately unable to determine if there is or is not a god. i dont believe that there could be one as the overwhelming evidence points against arguments for one
@TruthSeeke35716@ssjcaba@idkijustthibk yes. i use empiricism because it seems the most true, but i can never be absolutely certain of the validity of my senses.
@ssjcaba@idkijustthibk i never said empiricism was true. just that it seems that way. please expand on your epistemology. what are those factors, why are they true, and why are they better than others?
@ssjcaba@idkijustthibk i wouldnt say empiricism is a brute fact no. it just seems to me that it is the most consistent way to understand reality. if you have a perfect method by which you can ascertain truth from fiction then please lay it out
@ssjcaba@idkijustthibk no its just how things are. the only way for information to be gained is through my own perception and the only way to know the truth of my perception is my own perception. you are trying to find absolute truth where there is none
