The problem I have identified is mental health in children. There are so many factors that contribute to the stigma around mental health/ adversity in adults. They can be traced back to Adverse Childhood Events (ACEs). Check out this link! #EM203Problem https://t.co/WxtJoVCJlv.
Hello @DrBurkeHarris ! I was wondering if you would be able to shed some more light on ACEs and how we face adverse outcomes as adults in the future. I would really appreciate it as I conduct further research, and hopefully succeed in this course and future studies as well!
Even though we are in Canada, it has been very entertaining, and even nerve-racking following this year's U.S. election. Very interesting to learn how the American electoral system works in comparison to our Canadian system. #EM203Robin
JOE BIDEN DEFEATS PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP
The Associated Press declares Joe Biden the winner of a grueling campaign for the American presidency. He will lead a polarized nation through a historic collision of health, economic and social crises.

Mental health affects everyone in a unique way. It is important to always check up with people around you, and begin our own journey to understand how we can help. All of us can do our part every day to hopefully end the stigma #EM203Robin
The stigmatization of mental health is a prominent issue in our community. Understanding how it creates challenges and impacts the everyday lives of those around us is the first step to ending the stigma. #MentalHealthAwareness#EM203Robin#EM203Problem
Hey @EM203skendellen I enjoyed looking at your concept map about deforestation! I think a major problem with deforestation is uncontrollable forest fires. What can we do to limit these? #EM203problems
@EM203FolarinO Behaviourism is another very important aspect of learning Folarin! The notion of an environment based learning style is very apparent when we think about our learning styles compared to an older generation. Conditioning is certainly an interesting topic! Great post. #em203robin
@EM203CPorco Connectivism is absolutely important nowadays. Without it, we could find ourselves losing touch with both our peers and our learning. Both of which are apparent during an emotionally trying time, such as the current pandemic. #em203robin
@EM203HaydenJ Great point Hayden, it's very important to understand how we learn. With the resources we have today there are so many exciting ways to explore digital learning and how it will work for us, and equally important, how it won't! #em203robin
@hanaaismail_EM Hello!
I am also excited to explore the options conversed in EM203. The amount of knowledge at our fingertips is both enticing and worrisome. Do you find it easy to get lost in the vast resources we have nowadays? Or do you think you would be more lost without it? #em203robin
@EM203kstraus Hey Kristen,
I agree that understanding and developing the skills needed in today's setting is crucial to learn effectively. Do you think that learning will be changed forever due to this pandemic?
These past few lessons have given a very unique insight into learning and how modules like the 3 M's display how it is our generation might learn most efficiently, and what tools we use to do so. #EM203Robin
Really interested in the notion of constructivist learning. It's exciting to understand how one individual will 'construct' one's own way of learning to further comprehend the knowledge they seek to learn. #EM203Robin
