HILTON: $928 Million for Solar Panels Went to Ballot Harvesting
"A hundred million a year since 2015. By 2025 that's $1 billion. The invoices for actual solar panels were $72 million. $928 million went to nonprofits doing 'environmental justice.' When you look at what that is, it's voter registration and ballot harvest. And that's what the scam is."
Martial law has been declared in an English town in anticipation of a boat landing full of illegal migrants.
To be clear, the UK government is locking its own citizens in their homes in order to accommodate an incoming horde of illegals.
The fear is that the citizens will protest the migrant landing, so the solution is to lock them down under threat of imprisonment.
Most people have NO IDEA how bad things are in Europe, or how close we are to the same fate here. Democrat immigration policy is identical to this.
It’s become standard procedure for the Spanish brand Zara: release an item featuring antisemitic or Nazi motifs, face a backlash, and then launch the "Oops, we didn't notice" collection.
Is there anyone here who actually thinks this happens by mistake?
@a16z # of employees isn’t the whole story. What’s the average age of the employee? Bet it’s pretty high. Tech needs to solve for 70 year old machinists standing on their feet all day.
There’s just a deep irony in an immigrant from the 3rd world becoming mayor of the most prestigious city in the world and still claiming the American dream is dead.
In 1979 a daytime talk show host accused a Nobel laureate of defending greed on national television. The economist didn't defend himself. He asked one question back and the argument was over.
It was Milton Friedman on The Donahue Show. Phil Donahue hosting. A studio audience that had tuned in for daytime television and got an economics seminar instead.
Donahue's setup was the one everybody uses. Capitalism rewards the worst in people. Doesn't that ever bother you? Don't you ever have doubts?
Friedman didn't argue that greed was good.
He didn't argue that markets were clean either.
He asked Donahue to name a society that doesn't run on greed.
"Is there some society you know that doesn't run on greed?"
Then he went down the list. Russia. China. Do you think Russian commissars aren't pursuing their own interest? Do you think bureaucrats somewhere become angels the moment they're handed power over other people?
It sounds like deflection.
It's the whole thesis.
Then came the line that outlived everything else he ever said:
"The world runs on individuals pursuing their separate interests."
His point was never that self-interest is a virtue. It was that self-interest is a constant. It shows up in every system humans have ever built, under every flag, and the only real question is what a system does with it.
Here's the framework that runs through the whole exchange.
Self-interest doesn't disappear when you change the rules. It changes address. In a market, the way to get rich is to sell something strangers choose to buy. In a system where the state allocates, the way to get ahead is to get closer to whoever decides. Same impulse either way. The difference is whether the people on the other side can walk away.
Friedman had won the Nobel three years earlier. He could have made this argument in a lecture hall, to economists, in the language economists use.
He made it on afternoon television instead, to an audience that came for entertainment, in words a teenager could follow, without raising his voice once.
That's the part almost nobody copies.
Every think tank publishes papers nobody outside it reads. Every economist writes for other economists and then wonders why the public believes something else.
He went where the people who disagreed with him actually were.
Donahue kept the conversation going for years afterward. He had Friedman back on the show repeatedly, and he said more than once that he liked him personally even though they agreed on almost nothing.
That's the second thing in this clip that nobody points at. Two people who thought the other was wrong about something fundamental, sitting across from each other, not performing contempt.
The clip has more views now than Friedman's books have readers.
Most people who share the quote have never watched the four minutes around it.
Adam Schiff is worth $700 million.
All on a $174K yearly salary.
This isn't possible unless you are a CROOK that's running America.
He owns a luxury yacht and spends and spends 500K per month.
Assets include 9 luxury cars, $1M in gold, $610K in crypto, $5M in retirement, $12M in stocks, 5 houses, and 18 luxury watches.
It seems like a pretty big deal that there's an entire terror financing network comprised of 'young Palestinians' openly operating in NYC. Not surprising at all, but a very big deal nonetheless.
We all know who these 'young Palestinians' are, and we all know who they're supported by.
Get these people out of the country.
America has 16,876 machine shops.
83% employ fewer than 20 people. Just nine employ more than 500.
New defense companies are moving from prototypes to mass production, and every missile, drone, ship, and rocket they ultimately produce needs to run through one of these small shops.
That friction is a national security liability.
