On this #HugAMedievalist day, let me extend a big symbolic group hug to all the #MedievalTwitter people who educate me daily in so many ways, only some of which have to do with the actual Middle Ages. You make this platform better by being on it. Thank you!
Why not #HugAMedievalist... and then tell them about the fantastic @CARMENmedieval annual meeting in #Prague this September? Talks, workshops & project development, skills/training, & showcasing projects/research centres in our 'Marketplace' #medievaltwitter@hugamedievalist
The "hug" in "Hug a Medievalist Day" is metaphorical. If you have permission you might make it literal, but you can also "hug" a medievalist by expressing support, encouragement, appreciation, or affection in some less physical way.
It's #HugAMedievalist Day! Make us take a break from whatever article we're currently angsting over and give us some much-needed modern human contact!
Sending my fellow medievalists hugs from W.166! https://t.co/ysc0fXXYJ9
