@mikegapinski @TeslaAndroid @ServerpodDev @supabase @FlutterDev Text me. My day job is a Shopify Developer. Will happily do it for you and cover the costs of the monthly charge. I think what you’re doing is amazing and would be happy to help you out. (You should still have my number)

@TechnoTimLive @geerlingguy @Raspberry_Pi @TProxmox right now i'm trying to figure out: how much we can symlink across the rPi's so you don't have to spend 5hrs rsync'ing the `/boot` and `/` to the NFS share… guess it's time to spin up another VM and do another round of testing…

[Winston Hughes @hughker]

@geerlingguy/@TechnoTimLive have ya'll tried to netboot a @Raspberry_Pi rPi4 yet? i'm on day 2+ of trying and keep failing. was hoping you might've been able to or at least have a script. Using @TProxmox Ubuntu LXC as the server.

TL;DR: gunna need more tequila

[Winston Hughes @hughker]

@ProCheeseburger @TermiusHQ thanks!

[Winston Hughes @hughker]

@ProCheeseburger what terminal client is that? #AskingForAFriend

[Winston Hughes @hughker]

@TechnoTimLive how much MX do you have to do on your TrueNAS Scale server? i'm on the fence between simplicity using Synology (since I already have 3 around the US) and full DIY at the moment. Since I'm setting up a fresh #100DaysOfHomeLab now. Thanks!

[Winston Hughes @hughker]

@TechnoTimLive now I just have to figure out how to use Proxmox in HA properly to mess around some more into the rabbit hole

[Winston Hughes @hughker]

@TechnoTimLive @geerlingguy @Raspberry_Pi @TProxmox hah! we'll let's hope it's sooner than getting thru my 300+ open tabs in Chrome of stuff to do/research… but I think those can wait another 2+ years

[Winston Hughes @hughker]

@TechnoTimLive @geerlingguy @Raspberry_Pi @TProxmox oh sorry, forgot screenshot showing the NFS mounted FS

[Winston Hughes @hughker]

@TechnoTimLive @geerlingguy @Raspberry_Pi @TProxmox I finally got it working on a rPi4 after creating/destroying countless Ubuntu VMs and LXC instances. Now to do a backup and see if I can try to replicate it, again! Then to make an updated script/guide as a lot of the guides I found were helpful but outdated.

[Winston Hughes @hughker]

@TechnoTimLive — umm, well this is weird » https://t.co/UXWO6XGDD8 — found this when researching guacamole for testing and looks like they just copied+pasted your YT video? either way, wanted to pass it along

[Winston Hughes @hughker]

@geerlingguy @EbenUpton @Raspberry_Pi oh crap! that explains the dongles i got awhile back that were supposed to be from "Apple" or other products. thank you for the insight… gotta remember that for next time.

[Winston Hughes @hughker]

@geerlingguy truth! been trying to figure out this stupid Pi netboot deal and most links point to Reddit and i have to use "view cache" to try and get some insight.

[Winston Hughes @hughker]

@herrmann1001 If I’m not super busy, I’ll see how long I can waste their time before they get really angry and start swearing at me. All while looking at the origin IP of the email or looking up the carrier of the number they texted me from. Sometimes I go overboard…

[Winston Hughes @hughker]

@chswx Still hailing stronger now. Hah.

[Winston Hughes @hughker]

@chswx Pea size in JZI and loud rumbling thunder and solid lightening.

[Winston Hughes @hughker]

@herrmann1001 I keep telling myself “next week I’ll start running” because I know it’s gunna be bad. 😂

[Winston Hughes @hughker]

@herrmann1001 Just got done attempting to run Ethernet for the security cameras but I guess the stream ended. But can confirm no “Rick Rollin’” hah

[Winston Hughes @hughker]

@herrmann1001 I think between sand and margaritas I’d prolly opt for the Toughbook. 🎉
