Charley Hull was originally scheduled to fly out to Singapore on Saturday night, but was instead in the hospital back home in England. Hull wouldn't divulge any specifics after her round when interviewed by Golf Channel's Tom Abbott, only to say that she's "feeling a lot better now."
She arrived in Singapore for the HSBC Women's World Championship on Tuesday.
Hull opened with an even-par 72 at Sentosa Golf Club but followed with a sparkling 67 on Friday to take a share of 11th. She trails leader Auston Kim by four strokes heading into the weekend.
"I probably shouldn't have come here to be honest," Hull told Abbott, "but I really wanted to play because I would have had four or five weeks off after I'd won, if I didn't play this week, so I kind of wanted to just come out and play anyway."
