@ace_thenorth We offer a platform for sharing stories across cultures to support integration and develop understanding. One audience member said: 'Keep up the great work you are all doing in sharing stories, educating communities and changing lives.'

[Ferens Art Gallery @HullFerens]

Our latest exhibition aims to highlight the positive impact migration and free movement has had historically on the art and culture of Britain. Crossing Borders can be seen at the gallery until 6 Jan 2019. https://t.co/47GpqiEsHV

Our very own @syeda_nudrat is a driving force in this wonderful project. What could be a better commitment to a hopeful future?

*URGENT FUNDRAISING APPEAL FOR EMILY*

We are urgently asking for our friends, collaborators and audiences to help us with this appeal. Emily's situation has changed significantly and has to fight the Home Office (again!) for her right to remain in the UK

@mikehullwatts There's something magic about that street - last week I saw a man up a ladder rescuing a cat from a tree.

Thanks to @drnicholasevans for a fascinating lecture on migration in Hull. The Lazarus Hotel story would be a great subject for a play...hmmmmmm

[Hull Platform No. 1 @hullplatformno1]

A reflection from a cast member: ‘each performance I cry, I don’t know I’m born...I can empathise with people now, before I used to think ‘they’re immigrants, you know, they shouldn’t be in our country.’ It’s really changed the way I think and feel.’

Thank you to Alison White, Bishop of Hull, Leslie Newton and Rev Randall Barlow for blessing Peter and Anne’s house and 4 destitute refused asylum seekers who live there. Peter and Anne’s generosity is a shining example to all
