We are starting to release GPT-6 Astra and we are doing it as carefully and quickly as possible. It was very important to us that we bring it to all Plus users and not only Pro, Business and Enterprise.
It will take a few days for the rollout to complete and behind the scenes many novel systems will operate at scale for the first time and we are bringing a lot of compute up.
It is pure magic.

I have been trying to figure out why @elonmusk was so eager to push @xAI servers into space.
I realized the answer is latency.
Robots cannot operate on inferences with high response times. Otherwise, Edge AI would be needed, but it would cost too much for a single unit.
When using regular inference servers, the only viable connectivity for field robots is @Starlink, but the biggest issue is latency. Robots should not work with 500msโ1000ms delay for every inference.
This is where xAI orbital servers shine. Field robots connected via Starlink will have near-zero latency to xAI servers in space in the same vicinity, delivering real-time inference for mission-critical work. Other AI providers relying on ground data centers wonโt compete with this speed and integration.

This GPT Image 2 prompt is going insanely viral right now.
โRedraw the attached image in the most clumsy, scribbly, and utterly pathetic way possible. Use a white background, and make it look like it was drawn in MS Paint with a mouse. It should be vaguely similar but also not really, kind of matching but also off in a confusing, awkward way, with that low-quality pixel-by-pixel feel that really emphasizes how ridiculously bad it is. Actually, you know what, whatever, just draw it however you want.โ
@ayushsoni_io@adamfuhrer Didn't you think ahead that people would message this artist, blame him for copying someone's work, and that he'd tell everyone everything? Unless this "artist" is also your fake account, a simple "Sorry I copied his work" would've been a 10x easier path. ๐คฆ๐ป
