Save the Children is devastated to learn that Obaida, who we supported via our partner @DCIPalestine, has been killed by Israeli forces. Obaida was 17 and wanted to be a chef.
Our thoughts are with his family. There can be no justification for killing children.

58 children killed in #Gaza, 2 in #Israel. I travelled to both areas in the aftermath of 2014. Those on the Israel side were horrified by the pictures I showed them from Gaza. In Gaza I stood in a ward of children with their limbs blown off & broke down. It’s happening again.
