उत्तर प्रदेश के आगरा में मुस्लिम ट्रांसपोर्ट व्यापारी असगर अली की मौत का मामले में आगरा जीएसटी अधिकारी निवेदिता और रेशु त्रिपाठी की मिलीभगत का आरोप

आगरा में ट्रांसपोर्ट का काम करने वाले असगर अली की लाश उनके गोदाम के बाहर पड़ी मिली थी। उन्होंने जीएसटी अधिकारी निवेदिता सिंह के खिलाफ भ्रष्टाचार की शिकायत की थी और प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस भी की थी। प्रेस कांफ्रेंस करने के सिर्फ 3-4 दिन बाद उनकी लाश सड़क किनारे उनके गोदाम के बाहर पड़ी मिली। परिवार का आरोप है कि जीएसटी अधिकारी रेशु त्रिपाठी उनको रात लगभग 2 बजे पकड़कर अपनी गाड़ी में ले गई थी।

प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस के बाद असगर अली को बार-बार धमकी वाले फोन आने लगे थे। फोन करने वाले कह रहे थे कि शिकायत वापस ले लो, नहीं तो तुम्हें और तुम्हारे बच्चों को मार दिया जाएगा। परिवार कहता है कि जब असगर अली ने शिकायत वापस नहीं ली तो अधिकारियों ने उन्हें मरवा दिया।
