#PS47@ElisabethGCR2P raised concerns on #HumanRights abuses in #Tigray, #Amhara, and #Oromia. It was recommended to resolve ongoing conflicts through #Mediation, and to conduct independent investigations related to allegations of abuses in those regions.

1/4 🎯 🎉 Last week we hosted our Strategic Litigation Retreat in the German countryside, focusing on platform accountability and collective redress. We discussed the importance of building a litigation strategy and how it can fit into a broader human rights strategy.
Last month, the Somali advocacy group met with the UN Independent Expert on Somalia. They shared with her their experience of constitutional discrimination in Somalia where ethnic minority clans are excluded from opportunities in preference for the majority clans.
On 28 June 2024, Argentine Prosecutor Guillermo F. Marijuán requested arrest warrants for 25 Myanmar officials in the #UniversalJurisdiction case, including Min Aung Hlaing and Aung San Suu Kyi, for crimes against the Rohingya. A significant step toward justice for #Rohingya.
