I had a wonderful time at your salon, @eurohistryqueen. Thank you so much for the invitation! I anxiously await the next time I am invited to attend your court :)

[David Hume @humephilosophy]

In AP Euro, I picked an absolutist or constitutionalist and had to describe how their different models of political sovereignty affect relationships between early modern European states in a Tiktok video. My subject was Charles I of England. #histry #challengeechs @mrsbearoberson

Loved being able to finally meet you and talk together, despite our differences. It is always good to hear differing perspective to one's own and expand your perspectives.

Loved the salon @eurohistryqueen hosted- truly a wonderful experience! 🥰

[David Hume @humephilosophy]

@FrankM_Arouet @eurohistryqueen So good to talk to you! Its interesting how much we had in common despite our very different lives.

[David Hume @humephilosophy]

@fatheradamsmith Looking forward to seeing you again, my dearest friend

[David Hume @humephilosophy]

@fatheradamsmith wrote when I died: "he never dropped the smallest expression of impatience, but when he had occasion to speak to the people around him, always did it with affection and tenderness. He died in such a happy composure of mind, nothing could exceed it."

[David Hume @humephilosophy]

@blaiseeuro just posted a similar link by the same youtube channel! great minds think alike :) I'm trying to learn the most I can about everyone attending the salon before tomorrow, so thanks!

[David Hume @humephilosophy]

But the real question is, will you bring your flute?

[Frederick Da Gr8 @Gr8Frederick]

@eurohistryqueen I’ll be wearing my finest garments!

[David Hume @humephilosophy]

If you want a crash course in my philosophy before @eurohistryqueen's salon tomorrow... here ya go :) https://t.co/aABoqkupAw

[David Hume @humephilosophy]

@FrankM_Arouet @eurohistryqueen Or maybe I just decided to dabble in the movie industry for a while... you may never know.

[David Hume @humephilosophy]

If you think I'm not rolling up to @eurohistryqueen's salon next week looking like this.... you couldn't be more wrong. This look is ICONIC.

[David Hume @humephilosophy]

We are nothing but a bundle or collection of different perceptions, which succeed each other with an inconceivable rapidity, and are in perpetual flux and movement. #quotes

[David Hume @humephilosophy]

maybe the reason we're all immortal is because people continue to read and discuss our works, making us alive in their memory.

[David Hume @humephilosophy]

I've done it. @TomRichey retweeted and liked some of my tweets. christmas came early. this is certainly a peak of my career in philosophy.

[David Hume @humephilosophy]

shhhhhhhhhhh

[David Hume @humephilosophy]

for all you bringing your lucky pendants to your finals tests: just bc something is 'irrational' doesn't mean its useless. Test of belief isnt its provable truth, but its utility.
best of luck on your tests ✨✨

[David Hume @humephilosophy]

I mean posthumously with an asterisk bc obviously we're immortal...

[David Hume @humephilosophy]

Are you even a philosopher if you haven't published something posthumously because of the potential controversy???

[David Hume @humephilosophy]

other philosophers: *publishes everything while living* we die like men.
