Being broke because your money is invested is not the same as being broke because you were forming.
One will come back to meet you.
The other one has already left with the people you were trying to impress.
Every increase in income should improve your balance sheet before it improves your lifestyle.
If your income doubles and your expenses double too, you’ve only become a higher earner, not wealthier.
Let income growth build assets, not just expenses.
with skills you haven’t learned, places you haven’t explored and challenges you haven’t faced, life is rarely boring. most people are just underexposed to their own potential.

"Every repetition writes a line in the script of your future."
"Becoming isn't a moment. It's a series of repetitions done when no one is watching."
Those two statements capture my journey.
In 1979 was about nine years old. One night, my mother woke me up in the middle of night and asked me a simple but life-changing question:
"What would you like to become?"
She mentioned several trades that were popular at the time—carpentry, tailoring, and a few others.
Without hesitation, I replied, "I want to be an artist."
From that day on, I began to draw almost every single day. Those who knew me as a child soon stopped calling me just Nduka; they simply called me "the artist."
That identity followed me through primary school, secondary school, and eventually to the University of Benin, where I studied Fine and Applied Arts. After graduation, I worked as a graphic artist in several companies and later in the banking industry. Today, I practise full-time as a professional painter and watercolour artist.
Looking back, I realise that it all started with one decision—and then years of repetition.
Every sketch, every painting, every mistake, every improvement was another line written in the script of my future.
That is why I always tell people: Choose a trade. Commit yourself to it. Stay consistent. Keep showing up until your name becomes inseparable from what you do.
When people hear your name and immediately think of your craft, you are no longer just doing a job—you have built an identity. And that identity, strengthened by years of consistent practice, becomes one of the greatest foundations for lasting success.
One decision. Thousands of repetitions. A lifetime of purpose.
Good morning, great people.
Billionaire businessman Cosmas Maduka has called on Igbo people living outside the South-East to return home and invest in their communities, saying such investments would create jobs, and help reduce crime.
Speaking in an interview with BBC Igbo, Maduka said:
“If the Federal Government establishes a seaport in the South-East or even Rivers State, Lagos’ monopoly over Nigeria’s economy will collapse. They will be the ones begging people to use the Lagos seaport because people will now have alternative, if the government wants to help, From Abia State up to Ugwuta from Imo State can dredge Ugwuta Lake and create a seaport.”

Every time my mum visited my twin and i, she would quietly inspect my kitchen.
Not to judge us.... just to understand how we were living.
One afternoon, she picked up one of our old pots, turned it upside down, smiled, and said,
"So this is the soldier that has been fighting all your cooking battles?"
We both laughed.
Then she said something we have never forgotten:
"A peaceful home starts with the little things. A good pot that doesn't burn your food. A sharp knife that doesn't frustrate you. Plates you're proud to serve your guests with. Storage containers that keep your kitchen neat. These things may look ordinary, but they make everyday life easier."
That day, we changed a few things in our kitchen.
Nothing extravagant.
Just quality cookware and a few household essentials.
We didn't realize how much stress we had been managing until it disappeared.
Cooking became faster.
Cleaning became easier.
Our kitchen started feeling like a place we actually wanted to spend time in.
