This is wrong and the Samurai of course had their own insult for soft nobles calling them long sleeves or Nagasode and were they didn't have war they made the streets unsafe or penned offensive cultural output in the Gesaku genre. But if you want 1K likes on here you have to lie
@LaN98@GapingApe154@Nearhanuddin I'm pretty sure similar rules apply to foreigners doing 'revenue generating exercises' in the USA as well, though I can't say for sure.
@GapingApe154@Nearhanuddin It's less about the 'influencer' part and more about the 'working as a foreigner without permission' part. It's just a lot of influencers basically operate in a grey area. While recording content is (probably) fine, if he was directly paid by the buisness, that's a problem.
@GapingApe154@Nearhanuddin In principle, a foreigner is not permitted to engage in 'revenue-generating exercises' in Japan without the prior permission of immigration authorities. Now, if he was a PR, Spouse of Japanese, a citizen of Japan, or a handful of other statuses, this would not apply.
@cloudyploudy_ Now, would the ISA enforce against this? Maybe. But he's probably already outside the country, just taking a look at his Insta page, so...
@cloudyploudy_ Well, if he was paid, and does not have a status of residence that authorizes renumeration (assuming that he's on visa waiver or other 短期滞在 status, that would be the case) then he is almost certainly in violation of the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act.
@HakataQueen ...okay? That literally changes nothing about the argument that Japanese people in Japan can do as they will, and if you don't like it, you're free to not come.
@velazquez_14367@perseusxbt@MattooShashank Okay... I'll bite.
In principle, 10 years of residency is required to apply for PR in Japan. PR does not require the surrendering of other citizenships. So... if he was there for 30 years, then why didn't he? The only reason I can think of is he failed to pay his taxes in full
@TheRealCrAzD@venom1s This is fucking retarded. You are correct, though I do think would be better if there was standing permission from beforehand, like they had a discussion and he said 'Anytime, unless I say no.'
But what fucking man doesn't enjoy being woken up by a beautiful woman? Crazy.
@gweehumms@fuji__tobi@UnseenJapanSite ...Okay, it's nice that you think that would be valuable. However, the body politic does not agree. Under the current law, they are not obligated to hear your voice. If you don't like it, Narita has daily flights out.
@SimpRazor @meimei7782@fuji__tobi@UnseenJapanSite Maybe not, actually. Might be a 特別永住者 (special permanent resident), which while having certain rights and privileges, are not citizens. Usually used for Koreans that were in Japan as a consequence of WWII and never left.
