@trevinofficial@mhp_guy I have tried to apply about 10 times. I have checked my privacy settings and everything else I can think of. But it still keeps telling me that I don’t have a live Facebook page attached. Any chance you can help me figure out what I am doing wrong?
@ElaineBelz @ZachWLambert You should read The holiness of God by RC Sproul. It is one of the most influential books I have ever read in helping me understand God’s holy nature. Which many of us fall drastically short of grasping.
@ElaineBelz @ZachWLambert 4 Any attempt to sheepishly hold contradictory ideologies in incompatible tension because it makes a holy God somehow more palitable to our human insufficiencies is self serving.
@ElaineBelz @ZachWLambert 3 And if he is precise by nature, those who claim to follow Him are thereby required to submit themselves to that precise nature, not fight against. Our job then as followers becomes to know God as precisely as we can.
@ElaineBelz @ZachWLambert If that is a “red flag”, look no further than the author of the tweet. As that is the sub context present not only in this post, but also in his agenda. And it plays to his constant narrative wherein he seeks to align himself with an ever shifting morally relative culture.
@ZachWLambert My ability or inability to produce a list that you would dispute, does not in any way cripple the philosophical argument for a precise holy God. It would merely demonstrate human limitation. And human limitation does not negate the call for precision, if anything it amplifies it.
@ZachWLambert Your response in no way refutes my argument. A conviction for diversity for the sake of diversity is fueled (whether consciously or not) by a desire to honor society, not God. A holy God is not diversely ambiguous. He is precise, and so should we be.
@ZachWLambert Can there even be a life marked by sacrificial love, that resembles that of Christ, if it is not first devoted to the sound doctrine that teaches us what sacrificial love is and what it looks like? There can’t be disciples without the work of discipleship. Doctrine is important.
