I'd like to give a massive thanks to everyone in #Chorlton, for helping the #Manchester branch of the @RNLI raise over £900 on Saturday! Was great to talk with so many wonderful people along #BeechRoad and thank you to Etchells, for letting us set up camp outside of their shop.

@sundersays@DarrenG12176297@mrjamesob I wonder what the "personal issues" are? As my father was from Iraq and my mother is British, and having been born and raised in Britain, would the @ukhomeoffice give me a grant and send around a psychologist to teach me about immigration?
If you're around in #Chorlton, make sure you say hello to the wonderful @RNLI team, who will be out on Beech Road this coming Saturday! We'll be shake, shake, shaking those tins and helping to save lives at sea.
As a fan of the original 90's show, I'm loving the new series of #HeartbreakHigh on #Netflix. It's got a great cast, fantastic storylines and doesn't live off the popularity of its past success. It's refreshing to see something of this quality for the young and young at heart.❤️
@DailyMirror A self-defeating move from the left, echoing old racial stereo types from the 70's and 80's. Maybe if they get into the 21st Century, they'll be able to offer something other than "I'm not a racist, my best friend is Black." #EnoughisEnough guys, get with the programme!

"We may face high mountains, must cross rough seas. We must take our place in #history and live with dignity." These lyrics from the World in Union help to illustrate how #music can bring people together and be a force for positive change. - @AMARLondon
On Thursday 22nd September, I was back on air with Sile Martin on Radio Offbeat, on Manchester's @ALLFM, where I spoke about the work of some of the charities in our city. It was great to talk about @BlindVeterans, @CombatStress, the @RNLI and @AMARLondon's Yazidi choir.

Like the adventures of #PaddingtonBear and Winnie the Pooh, there are many #stories from the vibrant cultures within the @commonwealthsec, which are equally precious and which we could also benefit from. Read more here: https://t.co/X2g79qodhD
Our Chief Executive Mark Dowie reflects on the 70 years’ service Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II gave to the RNLI as our Patron, from naming five lifeboats to opening our volunteer training college in Poole.
We wish to express our deepest condolences to the Royal Family, the people of the UK and the Commonwealth, and all those who feel the loss of our sovereign. Our Patron from 1952 to 2016, her tireless service to this charity, this country, and the world will never be forgotten.
In the UK city of #Manchester tributes are on display. @PScotlandCSG, the @commonwealthsec, said Queen Elizabeth’s “partnership with generations of world leaders and their people, particularly the young” had "brought ever-more life and meaning to her service.”
On behalf of everyone involved with the RNLI, we send our heartfelt condolences to The Royal Family on the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The Queen dedicated 70 years as Patron of the RNLI. Her Majesty’s support for our lifesavers and our cause will never be forgotten.
