@JRCdirt Favourite loading screens were the RBR ones where it showed the rally map and showed road order and times coming in. Felt like a proper (simplistic) road section.
@BritRallyMedia 2017, marshalling in Dyfi the cars were unbelievably quick and sideways. Then went to the podium ceremony and the atmosphere with Elfyn winning was fantastic.
If my maths is correct and I've interpreted the rather complex @BRCrally point system right. The possible point scenarios for the top 4 on Cambrian are:
Creighton win 125.5 pts
Creighton 2nd 114 pts
Ingram win 131.5 pts
Ingram 2nd 121 pts
Cronin win 111.5 pts
Pryce win 116.5 pts
@RallyJournal “Will it go back to what it was like in 2023? I can’t promise that. But it will change,”
Good the new point system is flawed but has made Sunday mornings more exciting. It needs tweaking but not reversing.
@AnttiL_WRC @PowerslideMedia @orlenrajdpolski What were the temperatures? Did the DMACK's struggle with hot temperatures I remember them excelling in Wales.
@thebestofrally Wales & Catalunya. Wales in 2017 was best 17 cars were fantastic spectacle and got to see Evans doing celebratory donuts in front of home fans.
Photo from earlier Wales.
@Dimi_WRC A lot can happen in a year before the promoter settles on a calendar. The earlier Ireland can confirm a solid bid for a round the more pressure it would put on other events in the calendar.
@pjhj51@DirtFishRally Will Helmet cams transform the sport? No
Could they improve the coverage? Yes
Yes there are bigger issues the WRC has to deal with but that doesn't mean all the smaller things should be dismissed.
And the sport is not broken, the current WRC season is still excellent!
