@Turbinetraveler There is a video somewhere on the internet that explains what happend. On a crossing rwy a heavy jet landed seconds before creating a wake turbulence literally pushing this plane back to the ground - pilots handled it well ; nose down and accelerate.

@TracketPacer Imagine the queue gets congested; plp gives you a deterministic and not a probabilistic behavior by dropping one FC earlier then the other.

@TracketPacer Assume a queue with two FCs and one got a super aggressive drop profile attached while the other can use the rest of the queue to it’s full extent FC 1 has a higher loss priority over FC2 ; That’s where the name came from now nearly 27 years ago
