@dmxjon@Hacker0x01 AI has become a natural part of my workflow. Rather than focusing on automation, I collaborate with AI to identify weaknesses and direct it accordingly.
The final goal of AI companies is to end personal computing which in simple terms means to remove all access to digital devices from genral public. You can already see how prices of laptops, phones and PCs are being artificially inflated so no one can afford them anymore.
This is the largest endeavour to move digital assets from people to the technocrats. They recognise the monetary value which internet affords to common people and want to take it away. After they've taken away all your phones & PCs they will sell you a rectangle box which would run on a cloud and would require a constant subscription, this is their long game.
I built this tool to design and validate PCBs with AI for free.
I needed it for work, but the official KiCad CLI was too limited, so I extended it with a lot of additional functionality.
It achieves up to 400x better token efficiency compared to MCP-based solutions.
I also added automated testing, PCB routing, design validation, and other features to make AI-driven PCB development more practical.
It's open source, so feel free to try it out.
@swkkadjo That is a good question. Since I am separately developing an internal company tool, this repository just focuses on enabling AI to comfortably use all the features of KiCAD.
