Good morning, Dr. I worked with NPoPc. I'm also the State ICT for the Digital Birth Registration in Ekiti State.
Currently, there is a data handshake between birth registration and NIN. Let me work you through the process:
1. NPOPc register a birth with NIN or without NIN
2. If a child has an existing NIN, we simply call her/his data from the NIMC database and proceed to use that data to process his/her birth certificate.
3. The birth certificate will now have a digital birth certificate number that NIMC can use to call for the child's record from the NPoPC database.
4. If we register a child without NIN, there's API integration with the NIMC database that will facilitate the generation of the child's NIN on our end immediately. With this now, NPoPc now has the capacity to process birth certificates and, at the same time, process the NIN. Such a child will now be issued a birth certificate and his/her NIN immediately.
5. For death registration. It's a little bit tricky here. If the deceased has NIN, NPoPC used the NIN of the deceased to process the death certificate and call for his/her data from the NIMC database. In addition, the informant must provide his/her NIN for documentation also. Where the deceased has no NIN, we will still proceed to process the death certificate without NIN.
Let me add also that the NPoPc data integration has gone beyond NIMC. Currently, some embassies have been onboarded in such a way that they only accept NPoPc digital birth registration for any documentation.
All they need from NPOPc is what we called a "token" and once they input the "token" on their platform, they will call for the data of the applicants from NPoPc database and go ahead with their documentations.
Lastly, NPoPC has successfully integrated this same solution with Nigeria Immigration Service. Without NPOPc digital birth certificate, you might not be able to process your passport application.
I'm here for any further clarification, sir.
“I’m making this post from a once of pain, so after spending 6 years in higher institution and acquiring 2 certificates, all the First Lady can say to us is to go sell akara and corn with grant”
I joined a live conversation on TikTok, what caught my attention was the conversation and how they spoke about the good things this administration has being doing but there was complains about @NELFUND . I got interested and requested for mic.
The first complaint was that student who just got admission are unable to apply for Nelfund because the don’t have a matriculation number.
The second complaint is how the university has been exploiting students
The third complaint had to do with their stipends not paid.
I will be glad if Nelfund can listen to this and help these students from getting exploited and also fast track the processing of their Stipend.
@OgbeniDipo@otegaogra@NELFUND@AkintSawyerr please listen. The universities shouldn’t jeopardise the efforts of the president.
I have no doubt you are the architect of modern Nigeria same energy you brought to Lagos, you're bringing to the entire country.
Some people don't understand how foundational moves like this are.
Identity infrastructure, economic reform, structural rebuilding these things don't show results overnight.
You need patience to fully unlock what is being built here.
Only one request Mr. President go harder on electricity. Everything else will multiply if you fix that one.
There's something Tinubu keeps doing signing things into law that get very small headlines, but when you actually read about it, you realize it's a massive foundation for the Nigeria that's about to unlock.
That man is very smart but people underrate him. Maybe that's exactly why he has never lost an election.
I'll not say that because I don't like Tinubu, then I'll also not like his wife.
Neither will I make a mountain out of a molehill from her AKARA and KULI KULI statement.
There are parents who have raised their children and even become landlords from the AKARA business.
If you empower poor people with little or no formal education to fry AKARA or engage in any other petty trading, you're helping them.
Let's stop pretending that what she said is out of place just because we do not like the APC government, as I do.
We all buy Akara.
If we don't have Akara sellers, who will then do it?
What sort of job, trade, or business would you offer someone who is poorly educated, has no skills, and is living in penury?
Whether we like it or not, the poor will always live amongst us.
Even in developed countries and richer economies, we still have the downtrodden living amongst them.
If you empower your sister, aunt, or mother, who always calls you for money, to start a small trade, she will reduce the frequency at which she asks you for help.
So, her statement is not out of place if you want to look at things from the reality that we live in as a country.
The issues I have with her are showing a lack of empathy and not being sensitive to the plight of Nigerians by giving politicians or praise singers new cars, while giving the masses crumbs.
End.
Introducing My Football Club, Ibadan United FC.
I’ve always loved the game of football. As you all know, I’m a die-hard fan of Shooting Stars, a club I have supported for over 40 years, right from when I was a kid.
It’s a club I even sponsored for a few years at one point.
However, I’ve always wanted to own my own football club. But I didn’t want to have a club in Ibadan that would play against Shooting Stars.
About five years ago, my friend, @biolakazeem and I came up with the idea of establishing one in Lekki, Lagos, where I have a home and where the head office of my businesses is located.
So, we formed Lekki United and competed in the NLO, the third tier of the Nigerian football league.
After about two years, European scouts started noticing some of our players and began approaching us about collaborations which includes taking them abroad.
That was when it dawned on me.
My people in Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency, my people in Ibadan, and indeed Oyo State in general, should be the ones benefiting from this opportunity.
That was when I decided to rebrand the club and move it to Ibadan.
The issue of playing against Shooting Stars should not be a problem. In fact, we can even help Shooting Stars. The club can serve as a pipeline for talent to the Oluyole Warriors and to clubs abroad. More importantly, it is a pathway to help talented footballers in my constituency and across Oyo State realise their dreams.
So, here we are.
Ibadan United Football Club is here. We play in the 3rd Tier of Nigerian Football, the NLO
We will make history together.

I have today signed the NIMC Act 2026 into law.
For nearly twenty years, Nigeria’s identity system operated under a law written for a different era. That era is over.
This new Act gives our nation a modern, secure and digital identity framework fit for the Nigeria we are building, a Nigeria on the path to becoming a one-trillion-dollar economy.
This man clearly didn't read the bill as passed.
I know this because his major concern of the creation of an independent state police service commission was duly addressed in the bill.
For a man who doesn't know the meaning of KPI, one again wonders what this individual's mental capacities are.
A particular presidential candidate recruited 5 influencers, 4,000 social media attackers, imported 4,000 techno phones in 2023 to tear this country down.
State Police: Commendable Step, but Disorderly Legislation Raises Concerns of Political Misuse
The recent passage of the State Police Bill by the National Assembly marks a significant legislative milestone in addressing a long-standing demand of the Nigerian people. For years, many of us, alongside security experts and regional stakeholders, have consistently argued that a highly centralised policing structure is fundamentally unsuitable for a country as vast, diverse, and complex as Nigeria. However, the legislative and constitutional implementation appears shaky and raises legitimate concerns.
The process should involve greater community participation. Policing should be more visible at the local government and community levels. The mechanism for passing the law appears highly disorganised, with no public hearing on such a sensitive issue. Indeed, the rush to enact the law without proper legislative procedures fuels suspicion among many observers about the political motives behind it.
The greatest concern does not arise from logistical issues; it stems from history. There is a widespread, justifiable fear that state police forces could become instruments in the hands of governors. The suspicion is that a state-controlled police force could be weaponised to suppress political rivals, disrupt opposition rallies, and manipulate elections.
For state policing to evolve from a risky political gamble into a genuine security solution, the law must not only permit states to establish police forces but also clearly provide for independent oversight bodies, such as a state-level Police Service Commission that is entirely free from executive influence, to ensure that policing serves the public interest rather than the interests of the ruling elite.
Going by what Nigerians have seen so far, there is no guarantee that this administration can resist the temptation to take advantage of state policing to influence the 2027 general election by proxy. In view of that possibility and the danger it poses to the polity, it is necessary to defer its implementation until after the general election.
A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO
I don't mean to be rude but I really hate how simple we are as a people. It's like we are allergic to grappling with complexity. Is it malnutrition?
Even if we find our Lee Kwan Yew, are these the intellectuals that are supposed to help him transform Nigeria?
Morayo: The average Nigerian youth doesn’t see the growth the Government claims is happening in the economy. Where is the growth? How can it be felt and measured?

A particular presidential candidate recruited 5 influencers, 4,000 social media attackers, imported 4,000 techno phones in 2023 to tear this country down. Much of what you see online are influenced to paint the country black. That online mob has grown to 11,000.
China did not pull 800 million people out of poverty in 3 years. Dubai did not do it in 3 years. No nation did it in 3 years. Tinubu cannot pull 230 million Nigerians out of poverty in three years. What is he doing is putting the nation on the path to that recovery and growth.
