Murray Watt makes one of, if not the worst decision ever to approve a 45 yr extension to a climate bomb and we will hear not a peep from the rusties. What are they focused on. Of course posting silly memes and comments about the LNP.
There was a man riding his bicycle between the tents in the center of Gaza City, near our tent. My son Yazan saw him and began to cry, wanting to play with the bicycle. The man kindly took him and started riding around with him between the tents, just to stop his crying, just to give him a moment of joy.
Yazan he is nearly a year old now, and he has not seen a single beautiful day in his life. All he has seen is death and rubble, and all he hears are the sounds of planes and bombings.
His first year of life has been a witness to a war that has stolen every beautiful thing from him even the simplest dreams of children: a toy, a laugh, or a safe embrace.
@lost21kid @rudyIopez I now know it's AI but I'd assumed they'd ordered a flip book of a video clip, like a print-on-demand one, & recorded flipping it then synced to the song (in my defence I'm tired)
Watch this:ย Nati, a member of our Humanitarian Guard (in purple), stopped a brutal assault by far-right mobs on a young Palestinian man in the Old City of Jerusalem. While the police stood by, he did what had to be done.
A group of Palestinian bakers in Gaza break into the nostalgic song โููู ุฃูุงู ูุง ููู โ Where Have Our Days Goneโ as they bake bread together, trays sliding in and out and hands moving swiftly over dough. They sing of days long gone and memories that still linger.
Though only a few flour trucks have trickled into the Gaza Strip after the Israeli occupation sealed all crossings since March 2nd, nowhere near enough to meet the needs. Just one bakery inside of Gaza showing the unbreakable Palestinian spirit, alive and defiant despite the horrific crimes committed against them.

Approving this would have emissions equivalent to opening 12 large new coal power stations for 50 years.
It would make a mockery of all @AustralianLabor renewables and climate policies.
Today, a diabetic man collapsed in our camp and lost consciousness ๐ข...
Everyone started shouting, "Bring sugar! Honey! Anything sweet!" But the entire camp had none.
When they reached my tent, I told them I had nothingโฆ
Then suddenly, I remembered a small jar of honey I had hidden away for emergencies, in case of famine.
I rushed it to him, and moments later, he regained consciousness โ he survived.
His children hugged me tightly, and I burst into tearsโฆ
I felt proud for saving his life, but my heart shattered when I realized an entire camp didn't have a single spoonful of sugar.
How cruel it is to live in a time when honey becomes a hidden treasure, and survival is measured by a sweet spoonfulโฆ
To anyone willing to support us just to survive: https://t.co/ynehNMMpoo
Mughyier ad-Deir.
Another village on the long list of Palestinian communities in the West Bank that has been ethnically cleansed. Almost none are left.
This was done with full participation and collaboration of the Israeli state structures. The expulsion was accompanied by the army and the police, and even a Member of Parliament showed up.
