Lot's of FUD today on $wallet , I think something important to note:
I'm not someone who is gonna tell you to full port anything and I will ALWAYS be an advocate to get your initials out of whatever you're trading. Risk management is undervalued.
I've gotten burned too many times early in my crypto journey listening to Moon Boys.
Any trade can fail at any time, this is crypto. Even large firms like FTX can fail, nobody ever thought that would happen.
Now, it is much easier to hold through pullbacks on your thesis once you take initials and can sit through the play to watch your idea play out.
When i bought into cash-cat:native at 250k entry, there definitely were some pullbacks on it but taking small profits along the way to ease emotions helps a lot.
Now, nobody knows what will happen next. I just did a whole lot of my own research and came to a conclusion that I shared with you all. I am comfortable with whatever happens to my position at this point based on my thesis.
DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH.
I laid out everything that I found in my thesis post but it is up to you to look at everything yourself and come to your own conclusion.
Wrong or right I personally like the odds here. All we can do is wait it out now.
What a crazy week its been in the Robinhood world!
Time touch some grass on this beautiful Sunday ☀️
Don’t focus on buying before everyone else.
Instead, focus on understanding the narrative more deeply than others. Look for catalysts that are likely to capture people’s attention, and think about what they might mean to Robinhood’s CEO or to Robinhood as a company.
Also, research who created the project and keep adding to your thesis by asking yourself, “Why should I buy this?”
That is the kind of approach I recommend when trading.
Of course, this is not the only correct way. Everyone has their own trading style, and if you continue building your own edge and refining it over time, I believe good results will eventually follow.
DeFAI -> AIFI 。
Looking back over the past six months, aside from the ICM craze sparked by @pasternak, pure meme coins have captured a significant share of market attention. I believe the next phase will see a shift toward application-focused tech coins. Here’s a rundown of what I consider the key directions moving forward. These are just my personal thoughts, for reference only.
1/ICM: Tokenization of Startups
>The most effective way to generate revenue is to aggressively market and package your own company and products, building a large customer base and grabbing attention.
This suggests that technology might not be the top priority. Instead, the founder’s endorsement, financial backing, and ability to create a polished image often matter more.
2/Tokenization of Private Equity
>This might still be some time away, but I think it’s an inevitable trend.
Capital attention has evolved from Bitcoin’s early days—the 2016-17 bull run—the 2017 ICO boom—the 2020 bull market—the 2021-22 metaverse and NFT hype—the FTX and altcoin trauma—followed by the AI season—and now the 2024-25 meme season—before eventually landing on tokenized private equity.
>Tokenized private equity involves converting traditional private equity (PE) assets into digital tokens via blockchain technology. These tokens represent ownership or stakes in private equity investments, enabling trading, splitting, and transferring on digital platforms.
>My take is that this is the real-world asset (RWA) version of traditional private equity. The first phase involves building blockchain infrastructure, integrating on-chain systems with centralized APIs. The second phase is onboarding actual business use cases, the third is establishing digital identities, and the fourth is linking digital identities to private equity operations to create a financial closed loop. At its core, it’s about finance and liquidity.
>Through a 1:1 mapping, a transparent digital identity is formed, creating digital assets that can facilitate ecosystem integration. Essentially, it’s a financial product wrapped in various guises.
3/Privacy
>This is straightforward—next-gen decentralized AGI will increasingly meet people’s demands for data ownership and privacy, with zero-knowledge proofs being one of the best solutions.
4/Prediction Markets
>Primarily represented by platforms like Polymarket and Kalshi, prediction markets cover non-sports betting on topics such as cryptocurrencies, politics, and cultural events, alongside traditional sports betting. They even allow you to wager on others' speculative behavior with meme coins. Prediction markets and leveraged trading are poised to be the future of entertainment, enabling investors to bet on what they believe in and earn returns.
5/Competition Among Launchpads
>This feels a bit like last year’s AI boom—full of diversity and competition. Just seize the opportunity that suits you.
6/Other AI Directions, like Financial AI
>Driven by DeFi’s growth, the decentralized security of cryptocurrencies, and solutions to compliance issues. This leads from DeFAI to AIFI.@timotimo007 is always the go-to expert on AI trends—definitely worth following and learning from!
Lastly, quality meme coins are still worth keeping an eye on—they’re where the fun is. Hope this helps!
