@hightokolob i was 16. my aunt set down a copy of escape by carolyn jessop and i read several chapters in one sitting before checking out my own copy from the library. i was horrified. knew nothing before that. great read tho

@religiongal my mom was serving a mission in new zealand from 1987-1989. she street contacted my dad, who was sitting at a bus stop in front of the temple. towards the end of the conversation she invited him to take the lessons, he said he would but he's entering the mtc in a few weeks.
