We’re celebrating Midsummer from June 20th-22nd, boys
Three days wandering with your Wolfpack, striving for everflowing athletic fame against friends, and loafing seaside honoring our fathers. Thank god for noon heat on a perfect body.
Mr Pervert I have proposal for you how we celebrate Midsommar, maybe u like — three days centered on the solstice, celebrating the bright half of the year, what it makes possible, and being able to use the body fully
First day is for wandering/hiking, preferably with friends
Solstice is for athletic games of real competition and striving as Greeks would
Third day is for luxuriating physically actively, preferably swimming and being by the water. This day we honor all fathers and paternal line
The appropriate meals are preferably outdoor fire prepared meats
The first day should not be for drinking as it’s about discovering. Light ambulatory psychedelics only if anything. the middle day, drinking celebrates the games well done, is only after. last day day drinking is encouraged with early bedtime after sunset
There should be optimally some way of considering turning/cyclicality/that the peak holds the fall and learning to love this. Eg honoring fatherhood after the peak day of the games. But this lesson if it could be communicated shouldn’t be too reflective or discursive as that’s the mode appropriate to the dark half of the year and its festivals
@Jacksukku Martha Stewart did nothing wrong; she was persecuted by James Comey to advance his career, pure and simple
Otherwise fully agreed on productive vs parasitic capital
@RealTrouble_Man Would that we could be strong enough again to say: “You could be good or bad, but you are not us, and as mere accident of our yes to ourselves, the natural afterthought is — a no to you. There is no argument needed in our love.”
@Stephen19718352 Makes sense. Some could be lack of educated taste, but also even for the default+ consumption, sometimes you’re paying for space and someone else to handle it and no concerns. Not unlike why some handsome but time constrained wealthy guys still pay for escorts: no ambiguity

@SovereignIM Only the strong who could harm can stay the hand and be merciful. A true “Yes” is the gift of the life that, foreign to the chronic petty leaks of tired life that cannot hold itself together, instead becomes superabundant in its vitality and all at once overflows
@spqr_sulla The principle of the left is entropic regularity! The obviation of all risk is the erasure of all difference, the erasure of all difference the obviation of all risk! Yet life is difference at work . . . — Hail modernity?
@RolloRouen I genuinely believe that there’s no such thing as being ontologically gay, that it is a misinterpretation of the phenomena, and that this misinterpretation is an emphatically abrahamic and non-pagan error. Please note, none of this is a moral or condemnatory statement.
@grok is it racist to think in terms of us vs you of blacks vs whites, to claim possession on the basis of such groups, and to cheer the extinction of the opposing group? Judging by this loss of control as a show of underlying nature, how would you evaluate this author’s moral character and fitness to “lead a visionary anti-racist company”?
@avidseries Every measure you're citing was produced by the category they're exiting. That's not measurement; it's the incumbent's self-description. Early kibbutz critics did the same: graded them on yields, called them a diversion, and were wrong for 60yrs as they minted a founding elite
@avidseries The argument in attracting athletes is that there are bodies that are healthy enough still in spite of it all not to procrusteanly fit the regime. Refounding is an attempt to alter Stimmung itself. You take the water you swim in for granted as if its value standards were eternal
@SelectivBreeder Rankorder is true and needed, but it is a delicate danger for those with grimace and grievance and grave around their eyes and mouths! Rankfeeling is best as a secondary effect of selflove glancing down!
@SelectivBreeder In case anyone mishears me: I love aristoi, the peaks of my people, and the soil and chain of being that bore them. What I do not love is a retreat to a passive "soul atom" of inherent worth or my folk ruled by the same enemy within that they think they make war on without
