Last week, a dedicated team of researchers gathered at the Leiden Academic Centre for Drug Research, Leiden University, to discuss the first draft of the Hypermarker hypertension model. This version has been enriched with project data and now reviewed against additional datasets.

Mai Elkhalek, with a background in Bio Pharmaceutical Sciences, is pursuing her PhD at Leiden University. Her research in Hypermarker aims to develop methods for identifying hypertension biomarkers & optimising patient-specific treatments. A fan of drawing, guitar, and nature.
