@ASilversteinNY@susqhb@jdforward Moral of the story: unless you want to make headlines, stock both babka varieties.
Great reporting and thanks for the deep dive on brands, Brooklyn bakeries, & labor @ASilversteinNY
This article is an embarrassment. The influence of youth street hockey on NHL has been documented for 30 years since Coach Bombay's Ducks won the Junior Goodwill Games https://t.co/aTiLKTt9sc
Awful that some people have no problem cursing out an entire people...
Less awful: This week while walking w/ my kids on the street, person in front of us screams "Stupid a*** f*****!" into phone. At a safe distance, my younger one turns to me, "She just said the S-word!"
This morning while putting my daughter on the bus, a guy biking down the sidewalk zoomed between her and the school bus as it approached the curb, screaming "Fucking Jews."
@BucksBreaking This is from the satirical film "Shepselach," an audience choice award winner at the International (film) student festival in Tel Aviv ~2015. This take would be like someone walking out of "Book of Mormon" and declaring... some random conspiracy about Mormons.
@AlamoRabbi@sam_salz@NCAAFootball@AggieFootball I should qualify this... first televised kippah on the sidelines? Easier to stake that claim than "observance." Not the first day school alum, or first to spend part of Shabbat/shabbos at a Hillel/Chavas, etc. Still, a good story and nice to see representation, esp. this year.
@Joelmpetlin By at least some important metrics -- e.g., number of deaths since 2015 -- that is incorrect. But I'd agree that neither development is great, nor is the potential for amplification of ideologies that advance replacement theory or conspiracy theory.
@AlyxBernstein I could see a case for this being thoughtfully designed and continued.
Color War breakout, though... that's the real dissertation waiting to happen.
"Let's take a look at the progressive pylon cam -- not because it's a great look, but because we have to show it a certain number of times, and we're running out of time..." #Michiganfootball
@RamiofTeaneck Some outdoor dining structures are one kosher schach short of being a sukkah. If restaurants/contractors haven't converted, it's a fumblerooski.
