Writing fast python code is so satisfying.

People have been gaslit into thinking python is slow. But modern computers are so fast and modern software so complex, that python overhead is rarely relevant. The slowness people experience in python is just poorly written libraries.

People trust "influencers" now more than media brands and that's a good thing IMO.

Trustworthiness should be what ultimately brings consumers back to an influencer - not the media brand that platforms them.

But it's not clear to me that the gov't breaking up media companies is the answer: I think those companies got big because of their monopoly on VHF/UHF spectrum. In the age of the internet, that no longer matters.
