I found a bug with AI that had previously slipped through strong testing, human review, and decent vulnerability tooling.

The lesson is not minor.

When security matters, rushing is never worth it. Reviews should also systematically include the latest, most capable AI models, because they can surface vulnerabilities that traditional testing and human reviewers may still miss.

AI is not a substitute for rigorous security work. But it is becoming an essential additional layer.
