Incidence of persist shoulder pain after vaccination was 1.22 per million for the adult and 0.05 for aged 3 to 17 years. Study published in Annals of Internal Medicine (https://t.co/wq07O6baff) examined 3.7 million vaccinations. Risk factors include advanced age, female sex.

Study found fewer than 1 in 10,000 people in 2016 and 2017 reported shoulder injuries after vaccinations. The #KPResearch study included adults and children, whose risk was even lower at about 5 injuries in 1 million.
