So thrilled to continue my coaching journey with @brightmorningtm this school year! My intention as a #BMCMember is to actively cultivate resilience in myself and those I serve as we work to transform our students' daily learning experiences.
@mshintonsainz @undercover_edu @aaaadams How exciting! How do you think change happens at the school level? What could a coach do support systems level change?
@undercover_edu "How can we blame students for feeling “bored” at school when they spend most of their time answering questions that have already been answered?" Hit the nail on the head. Thanks for the simple and informative process to tackle one of the most pervasive issues in our ed system!
I have to share this Instagram from our Westwood Native American Education Program. The staff have been just “tearing it up” this year connecting with students on our campus. When students see themselves in others they have better engagement and identity formation!
#Q2iCON is on the books! Loved spending time with this #MPSiCON and chatting about books and the future of our profession. You inspire me, @undercover_edu Innovators unite!

Seniors in Ms. Kottwitz's personal finance class co-constructing the rubric for their final exam: a holiday spending budget that shows how they make decisions by calculating discounts, simple interest, and total payoff. Way to #diveintoinquiry

Combined the See-Think-Wonder #thinkingroutine with an @Estimation180#provocation today in Mrs. Burling's 5th grade class. Before pursuing the "right" answer, we wondered how many different strategies we could use. Students came up with 5. Focus on the journey- the destination.
After making observations about the models and years of each car, they were curious if the rows had any intentional pattern to them. They decided no-- shout out to my teenage car enthusiasts who helped me be curious about something I never thought I could be curious about!
Took a risk and did a spontaneous #provocation in a senior personal finance class today and it paid off! It's amazing what students will share if we hold space for them. What do you see, think, and wonder?
Mrs. Vincent's 5th graders are leaning into their curiosities about our solar system and making videos to show what they learn through their research. Can't wait for the finished products! @1818rhino
Such an honor to read Portrait of a Graduate awards at Lehi Elementary's fall assembly today! Our students are #resilient and make us so proud! Congrats!
