The Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, has constituted a high-level Committee under the chairmanship of former Deputy National Security Advisor and Interlocutor Shri Pankaj Kumar Singh to prepare the comprehensive framework for a Permanent Political Solution with regards to Gorkha issues under the aegis of Constitution of India.

This decisive step represents a major and long-awaited breakthrough in resolving this critical pending matter.

Held a meeting with Gorkha Member of Parliament, MLAs, and prominent Political Leaders along with CM of West Bengal in Siliguri today.

Discussed the long-pending aspirations and genuine concerns of the Gorkha people and a practical roadmap forward. Reiterated that under the leadership of PM Modi Ji, the government is firmly committed to addressing these issues. Further assured them that every possible effort will be made to address their legitimate aspirations within the framework of the Constitution.

Thanked them for participating in the meeting and sharing their valuable suggestions. The government will work towards a just, dignified, and lasting resolution that honours the aspirations of the Gorkha community, safeguards their identity and ensures a better future.

প্রযুক্তি ও ফরেনসিকের ব্যাপক ব্যবহারের মাধ্যমে নতুন ন্যায় সংহিতা দ্রুত, সময়বদ্ধ এবং ভুক্তভোগী কেন্দ্রিক ন্যায়বিচার নিশ্চিত করছে। সেই কারণেই মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় নিজের সিন্ডিকেট ও গুন্ডারাজকে রক্ষা করতে বাংলায় এগুলি নোটিফাই করেননি। কিন্তু বিজেপি সরকার এই ন্যায় সংহিতা কার্যকর করে ‘ভয় নয়, ভরসা’-র সংকল্পকে বাস্তবায়িত করেছে। রাজ্যের বিচারব্যবস্থা, আইন ও পুলিশিংয়ের সঙ্গে যুক্ত সকলকে এই প্রদর্শনী অবশ্যই দেখার জন্য আহ্বান জানাই।

পাশাপাশি, নবনির্মিত বিধাননগর পুলিশ কমিশনারেটের কার্যালয় ভবনের উদ্বোধনও করলাম।

They can engage with Atal Tinkering Labs, spark curiosity among schoolchildren and inspire the next generation to participate in the space sector.

It was wonderful to meet the Yuva Urja of India’s space sector…young entrepreneurs and innovators who have shown remarkable courage by entering a new and demanding domain. They have taken risks, trusted the reform process and remained consistent in their efforts. Due to this, India has achieved a lot in the space sector in the last few years.

The StartUps made insightful presentations on their work. They also appreciated the space reforms of the Government and how it encouraged them to grow further in this sector.

I assured the space StartUps that Government of India will continue to stand with them as they build India’s capabilities for the future. India can offer the world a strong, innovative and commercially viable model in the space sector.
