Miss the “step” controls from my Viessmann 100-W, too.
A curve alone doesn’t seem to be enough.

I’ve had to raise my heat curve to make up for it. I’ve got an install that’s only a few weeks old, and at the moment I’m not entirely happy with its efficiency.
