@LadyRebecca_1 Cornered.
They were all in on the Reform train and then Nigel pulled rank and excised a huge chunk of his base way too soon.
Now they are all trying to clean up Nigel’s mess and ruining their credibility in the process.
Love to see it 🤣
@LadyRebecca_1 She’s completely burned years of manoeuvring calmly and purposefully in the political sphere.
4 months of shrieking like a blue-haired lefty in her car at a McDonalds.
What I love?
She knew the hitjob on Rupert was a bad move, and now she’s having to clean up the mess 🤣
@SusanCowell@ThatAlexWoman is rattled to her core because she knows this was avoidable. She’s very politically astute and knows Reform ballsed up the job they did on Rupert.
Now she has to play shrieking cover to try and clean up the mess the Reform uppers made (and it’s eating her alive 🤣)
@basedandbougie Nigel and his merry band of Tories told us where to go long before Rupert started Restore.
Farage clearly wanted to excise the right of his party in favour of a “larger” chunk of centrist votes.
He made his bed and now you have to lie in it.
Paronomasia intended!
@LeanneSpurs So splitting the vote is good when you do it but bad when others do it?
Pot kettle?
2024 General Election - Major parties (vote share):
Labour: 33.7% (9,708,716 votes)
Conservative: 23.7% (6,828,925 votes) Reform UK: 14.3% (around 4.1 million votes)
@raelbrav Substitute Reform with Tories and it’s a carbon copy of what they were saying about Reform just 2 years ago.
Where would Reform be today if they stood down in 24’?
Why should Restore standards down now?
@JohnMusumeci7 Sounds a lot like the Tories in 24’
Rupert and Restore owe nothing to Reform.
Those of us who were considered on the right of Reform were swiftly cast aside the moment those 5 MPs got into Westminster.
Put up your man, give it your best shot.
We’ll do the same.
@_EleanorJackson Don’t live there so no vote but hope Restore get in. Sticking with Reform is understandable, especially for those new to Nigel’s world. I get it.
I just couldn’t. I’ve seen too much, too many times. Not falling for it again.
@Lord_Talbot64@RupertLowe10 Sorry but the British public (of which I’m one) must learn the hard way. There is no get out of jail card left - we walk through the storm and if Makerfield don’t wipe the floor with Labour/Reform in favour of Restore, then they must reap what they sow until it’s clear to them.
Teachers striking days before the GCSE and A Level exams.😱
Kids protesting opposite them, demanding to be taught! Poor kids.
This is the state of our country.
God help us. 😳
