@AnuSatheesh5 If enough people gather (as for this protest), then it will surely make an impact on the government to at least restructure the reservation rules.
@volklub Yes paaji, I was thinking it would be an honour to give a significant part of our earnings and income to these farmers and others so they can benefit. After all, farmers deserve the right to live well more than we do.
@imYadav31 I have seen a significant dip in my cibil score this time, even though I have made timely payments. It's totally frustrating @TransUnion .How to know if it's from SBI card or any other card???
I bought an online course yesterday.
And honestly, I felt Cheated.
Funny, right?
I run an EdTech company myself, and here I am buying someone else's course.
It was an online course by a very famous Finance creator. I saw an Instagram ad. The marketing looked convincing, so I decided to purchase it.
Within a few minutes, I realized the course was nowhere close to what was promised.
The content was shallow, the production quality was very bad, and now I know why so many people end up losing trust in online education.
I'm 100% sure I'm never purchasing anything from that creator again.
I went to check their refund policy, and they don't offer refunds.
Now I know why. 🥲
The biggest problem in EdTech today is building trust.
Even I run an EdTech business, but we make sure we build trust with every transaction that happens on our platform.
It's been 4+ years of NamasteDev, and we've been running our business ethically, without making random false promises.
The biggest way we earn trust is by offering a `7-day, no-questions-asked, 100% refund policy` for every paid course at NamasteDev.
If you don't like the course, I don't want your money.
Even though every refund costs us money, we still offer it transparently.
Because losing a little money is much better than losing someone's trust.
Interestingly, even with such an open refund policy, our refund rate is `less than 1%`.
The reason is simple: the quality of our content is very high, and we have 100% trust in what we deliver.
I put my heart and soul into building every single course that we have today.
The biggest Win for us is seeing students come back for a second, third, or fourth course, and asking, "When is the next one launching?"
Trust is hard to earn.
Very easy to lose.
And in the long run, I think trust is the only real moat an education company can build.
I honestly think every EdTech company should give students enough time to decide. A `7-day refund` for recorded courses and atleast `3-4 classes` for live cohorts.
