Many Americans today have mixed opinions about Barack Obama. Some admire him, others criticize him. But for those of us who come from outside, the reality is often different.
Believe it or not, no American president has ever left such a strong impression around the world as Barack Obama. He embodied hope, respect, intelligence, and dialogue. He represented a powerful image of America: open, inspiring, and close to the people.
For many of us, Obama was not just a president; he was a symbol. A symbol that everything is possible, that social background, skin color, or personal history should never be limits.
He restored confidence to millions of young people around the world. He spoke to the world with dignity, calm, and responsibility. He knew how to unite instead of divide.
No matter the internal political debates, internationally, Barack Obama will forever remain one of the most respected, loved, and admired American presidents.
His legacy goes beyond borders. And his name will remain engraved in history.
SMDH #Facts Incredible the harm one delusional loser can do. Time for us woke folks to take back our flag. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 It belongs to all the unracist. MAGA can rep the flags they really want to wave around. The nazi and confederate. 🖕🏽🖕🏽🖕🏽
Same week a Black man gets dragged limp & unresponsive by cops and dies in custody…
This guy wrestles a cop, hops back on his bike and rides off clean no shots fired, no taser.
Racial double standard?
U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth is blocking the promotion of four Army officers to be one-star generals, two of which are Black and two women on a list of roughly three dozen officers up for promotion, in a highly unusual move that has prompted some senior military officials to question whether the officers are being singled out because of their race or gender, according to The New York Times.
Hegseth had been pressing senior Army leaders, including Army Secretary Daniel P. Driscoll, for months to remove the officers’ names, military officials said. But Secretary Driscoll, citing the officers’ decades-long records of exemplary service, had repeatedly refused. Earlier this month, Hegseth broke the logjam by unilaterally striking the officers’ names from the list, though it is not clear he has the legal authority to do so. The list is currently being reviewed by the White House, which is expected to sent for final approval to the Senate.
BREAKING 🔴
Ibrahim Zolfagari, spokesperson for Iran’s military, rejects the U.S. and President Trump’s 14 point plan
“Our position has not changed from day 1 and will not change. We will never reach an agreement with people like you, not now and not ever. What you called strategic power has become strategic failure”
@esegbona_luis Fun fact... Obviously you stopped keeping up with Ye as his valuation is currently worth more than that now with full creative control of his brand. 2.7 billion as recently as the end of last year. #Boss@kanyewest
In 2019, @KamalaHarris warned us about Trump and Iran, but you didn't like her laugh so you ignored her:
"If this president is thinking about putting us in a position where we are at war with Iran, the consequences will be absolutely unacceptable and tragic in terms of the young men and women who are American soldiers who would be sent and deployed into something that was completely avoidable."
Reverend Jesse Jackson called on each of us to be heralds of change, to be messengers of hope; to step forward and say “Send me” wherever we have a chance to make an impact.
How fortunate we were that Jesse Jackson answered that call. What a great debt we owe to him.
BREAKING: Trump refuses to take responsibility for the killed US troops and callously dismisses their deaths in a slurring video in which he says, “that’s the way it is and more likely coming”! https://t.co/yXe4cJf5ag
Donald Trump just posted a shaky video from Mar-a-Lago on Truth Social, looking completely drained, eyes squinting at the teleprompter, words slurring as he mumbled through “condolences” for the three American service members killed in his unauthorized war on Iran.
While grieving families mourn real losses from Operation Epic Fury, Trump’s cold shrug? “Sadly, there will likely be more before it ends. That’s the way it is. Likely be more,” he said, sounding like a homicidal Bruce Hornsby.
In the rambling clip, Trump mumbled praise for the fallen as patriots who made the ultimate sacrifice, sent obligatory prayers to the wounded (five seriously so far), and offered his love and eternal gratitude to their families before casually pivoting to the fact that more troops will inevitably die.
"We expect casualties ... but in the end it's going to be a great deal for the world," he added, vowing to “avenge” the deaths with the “most punishing blow” and promising the strikes will hammer on.
He provided no details, no timeline, no congressional approval, just endless bombs, regime-change fantasies, and a guy who looks one bad read away from nodding off. Just more dystopian horrorshow as the president sees military lives as disposable collateral in a reckless adventure that risks a wider catastrophe.
Civilian deaths mounting, missiles flying, three brave Americans gone, and Trump can’t muster much more than shrug, squint, slur, repeat. Get some sleep grandpa.
Trump seems over his head now, but can’t turn around. He’s gotten all of us into a dangerous game with no plan and no accountability while MAGA cheers and families bury their heroes.
If Trump's slurring acceptance of “likely be more” deaths while looking ready to collapse hits you with rage, like and share to spread the word: No more endless Trump wars! Honor our fallen by demanding a stop to all this.
We need to take back the word American because white has never been the sole owner. Biggots aren't Americans. They are nazi's. Even funnier is that they are being guided by the people they committed genocide against and their hero sucks D and violates women and children. #free
@nancylee2016@yettavr6@ShellyShell440@krassenstein@grok Of cours, I'm sure DHS let that medical examination just go on without any interruption on top of dropping a blind man off 5 miles from his home. You dumber than the person arguing with Grok. Smfh. You people are not Americans.
