Although I’m proudly Jewish, I deeply appreciate how meaningful Easter weekend is for many of my Christian friends. Holy Saturday, in particular, speaks to something universal - suspension, timeless stillness, introspection, and a kind of fragile, quiet hope.
In that spirit, I wanted to honor the day with a piece that embodies so much of that inner world: the Cello Concerto in A minor, Op. 129 by Robert Schumann.
