@marshallpruett @RACERHQ Team’s typically push boundaries with the stuff you can’t see. Equally could just be composite/bodywork tech trying to make things perfect and not appreciating the reg. @MattP1Gallagher The VSC will have an announcement & count down to its start. This would always give a team opportunity to switch like McLaren. This procedure is partly to avoid any further collisions/confusions.

@kimpieuk @AbbiPulling @British_Airways Whilst I see your point. The problem with a helmet going in the hold is you have no idea what drops and crashes it’s exposed to. If a helmet is dropped on the floor it is now considered scrap unfortunately.
